I want to change my BAD ignition switch.
I have a 1995 FLSTC. I can NOT for the life of me,
get the odometer screw out. What size is this screw ?
I have the service manual it says to REMOVE the screw.
Any help would be appreciated.
It's a #1 Philips. Picked up a long shafted one at the auto parts store. You can muck up the bolts head very easily. I replaced it with a fresh bolt, could only find slot head and it works fine.
I actually keep the tiny screwdriver for it in the tool kit ... Just in case I need to get into the speedo / Tach assembly where much of the ignition wiring and circuit breakers are located on my bike.
