Hey fellas,
I am about to embark on an install of 18" burly gorilla apes and before I get started, I'd like to have the cables and brake line on hand. Any suggestions as to the length I should order? Ive searched the forum and have found that +10 or possibly +12 are common. Should I mount the bars and then run the factory lines from their current location and add accordingly? Looking for a clean length without a lot of excess.

for what its worth here are the specs on the bars:

18" height
36.5" width
14" center width

 

I put the bars on and measured the difference from the stock cables. Worked great. Only takes a few days to get the cables and it was winter when I did mine so the extra down time wasn't a factor.
