16" 17"or 18" x200 rear wheel for a blackline
i am putting a 200rear on the blackline.its a project im still waiting to start but i want to know which would be the best way to go as far as which size wheel 16 17 or 18" and for the best selection of tyres

I know you you have a pretty big selection for the 17" From 2007-present, Fatboy rear wheels are 17" and they have a 200mm tire, stock.
But if you are going for looks as well, I do really like the look of an 18" on the back, and those are just as available now as 17" |
Myself I like the look of a 200 on a 16 or15" rim. They are harder to fit brake wise but to me the rear area looks to open with an 18 on there.

16inch for me

I had a 300 on my hardtail, a 200 on my fatboy lo, and I think it was a 240 on my V-rod, but that was one of the things I liked about the Blackline was the narrower tire. It's somewhat retro, but honestly, it handles better. All that wide meat is good visually and on a straight line, but my Blackline handles great. I remember when "wide tires" became trendy. The Blackline was HD's attempt at a stripped down "bobber" look. I'm a firm believer in making the bike your own, so I'm sure whatever size you choose, it'll be fine.

I was think the same thing with the rear but still thinking, I would like the look but dont know yet as to what I am going to finally do but will share it with you all once i do decide :) |
I'd go 17" 200. I don't like tall rims on the rear, ruins the 'fat' look. 17" is a good compromise.

SO any updates yet bro????

Look at the rear of my bike it is an 18" 200mm and i think it looks great. It all depends on the type of wheel you run. Also a larger wheel fills the fender better without having to slam your suspension to the ground.

18" will balance best with the front wheel.
