Default Heritage Solo Seat Attachment Question?

Hi everyone:

I have a 2004 Heritage Classic and I took the passenger pillion of the stock seat to make it a solo seat. Now my question is on the 2004 Heritage once you take the passenger pillion off the seat it only attaches to the frame by two bolts on each side. Is this safe enough or do you all do something else?

It's good. The replacement Mustang sear only attaches with the single rear fender bolt.

I alternate between the two on my 2004 Heritage.

I have the Mustang Vintage Solo and the LePera Barebones and both only attach by the side frame bolts. If you wish you can attach a fender bib that connects to the rear of the solo and then to the single bolt on the rear fender.
Cheers!

Yep, two bolts and the flange at the front of the seat. Agree, get the fender bib. Makes it look much better.
I have been looking at converting over to a solo spring seat but that is still under review. I really like that springer look....
