Default Got a new pipe, Bassani Road rage 2:1

Ive been wanting to go to a 2:1 pipe for a while. I had V&H short shots on it. I really liked the sound of a thunder header but wanted a different look. This road rage with the short meg was the ticket. Sounds great (to me) and seems to run better than the short shots. Only have about 100 miles on it but so far so good.

I dig mine. If you run it without the endcap, its a little louder too.

I will tell you, I was never a 2 into 1 fan at all. I bought this 2006 FLSTNI and the 1st thing I was going to do was to pull that pipe and go to the 39" cholo's. In riding it home though after I bought it I could not believe how well that bike ran with that pipe and how it sounded. Mine is a python pipe and I just love it!! It has totally changed my mind about this type of a pipe and has me going in a whole new direction of what I now want to do with my bike. I think you are going to enjoy it for a long time to come, I now I will. I hope you have much fun and luck with your new pipe. Keep us posted after you get a bunch of more miles on it because I am curious too. I have not been able to put very many miles on mine cause I been doing mods since I bought it so that I can have it ready for spring time and summer. I want this thing done when winter ends so I don't have to worry about anything but when and where to ride too.

I liked mine so much that I am going to do the same only in Chrome for the new CVO. . . . I installed the Quiet Baffle and it actually gave it a Better sound.

Not much for 2 into 1 pipes but I have to admit that looks pretty good on there.

Thanks. I'll keep everyone posted on how it holds up. Gonna do a 98" build in the next few months.
