Default Rd 2 of 3.. Socals "Winter" Mods (pix)

Okay, i just completed round 2 of 3.. Im still workin on shortening up the center stand, but that one is gonna be a beyotch since the extender arm is so low...

Round 2....
1. Galfer Rotors and pads.. These are the same rotors Rickey Carmichael and other SuperStreetBike guys run. I figure, " Hey!! Why cant a Harley?!"
. These things STOP!!!!!! These rotors are individually laser cut, not mass produced stamped out. You could lose a finger on the edges! They have a patent on the wave pattern that gives them the characteristics of a rotor TWICE their size due to surface area.. No need to cross-drill!
2. MoCo's LED Headlight... Im not really sure i like the look... Its pretty kewl.
but it does take away from a Nostalgia look. BUT DAMN! I JUST PARKED . THE RYDE FROM TONIGHT, AND THIS THING LIGHTS UP!!!!! IT LOOKS . . LIKE DAY IN FRONT OF ME!!!
3.BrightAssLights BAL-1 Tailight... ( I gotta thank HDFr "Digital" for his . . . . review on this one) This taillight lights up the back!!!! I have it to . strobe 4 or 5 really quick ones and then a steady bright red! . .. . Waaaay brighter than OEM and if the strobe doesnt catch all these
g-ddamn wannabe Hollywood actors from texting and practicing their lines behind me, im not really sure what will!!!- I already notice the cages stopping behind me about 1 - 1.5 car lengths at the stoplights.- Look for Digitals Review Thread for pix on the brightness!
4. I had to relocate the License Plate from the swingarm back to the rear fender. The centerstand did not allow for both the swingarmbag AND the plate.. I did not want it back to the original locale so i mounted BELOW the taillight. I pulled off the Kuryakyn chrome badge that covers the 3 mounting holes and covered them with black Bolt Toppers... I tell you it really sux taking your home drill to your paint, but it did work out well..
5.. Had to replace the rubber with Metzler tires...

PIX!!!!
Swingarm bag doesnt allow for the swingarm plate

Galfer Rotors and new rubber...Watch your fingers

MoCos LED

License Plate ReLo, Rear Galfer Rotor, new rubber and Bal-1 Taillight

......Round 3 coming soon but it may be a couple weeks since Im a little over my "HEAD" on the install on this one

I think the headlight looks good with the black front end.

You got more of an old school meets new school thing going so it all flows together anyway...good job man!

Cheers on the Jack bro, that's what the weekend is for so you might as well kick it off right!

Ugh!!! Saturday mornings with a whiskey hangover SUCK!!

Thanks for the comps guys..
@TIILM . .. Did you get the link for the brake/clutch levers? Pretty kewl, huh?

@Clay.... Thanks brotha. That is EXACTLY what I'm goin after. An Ol Skool meets Nu Skool flow.

@Ash... Haha.. I guess the axle covers with the stash tube makes it look a little more trick than it is. The rear caliper setup is OEM with the only change is to the rotor and new pads. The OEM caliper fits real nyce with the Galfer rotor. I'm thinking if I do a round 4 it may include black PM 6 piston calipers back there and up front. But let me get thru Rd 3 first. This ones gonna be a little pricey. $$$

Thanks again for the compliments my friends.
Keep doin the damn thing!!!
Jason.

Hey on that center stand why not package in a linear actuator and have it come dow when you hit the button. Then you dont need a kick arm, just press the button and slam the gun!

like landing a flying saucer
