Default Black rim for Night Train

I've got my new pics up of my Train. I am thinking about getting a black rim for it. My first choice is black, black like in the flat or Denim color of my bike. Anyone have sources of decent prices for rims? I've got to find a way to remove of of the gunk off of my back rim as well.

I am open to ideas gents.

I'm in the process of putting a rocker front wheel on mine. Waiting for spacers.

Really depends on how much money you want to spend the cheapest route may be to sandblast and powdercoat the current rims plus you wont ahve to worry about getting correct wheel spacers and such. But if you got some cash the aftermarket is full of awesome black wheels I am running DNA mammoth fat spokes but there are lots to choose. Wheels can really make your bike and they need to fit your theme. Plus if you choose new wheels stick to common size tires the radical size ones look good but rubber is hard or really expensive to find.

I wouldn't do flat black. I am going to do mine in a gloss black to match the frame. A solid flat black rim gives the appearance that the rim is always dirty. Make sure to leave a little bit of a polished lip to separate the rim from the tire visually as well.

All depends what style ya wanna go with and then how much you wanna spend lol. You can find set of DNA spoke wheels on eBay reasonable. But there has been some issues with DNA. wannaryd and Coastal Motto have GREAT prices on RSD and other big name wheel co's too.

Are you happy with spokes? If so, why not just powder coat what you already have? That's what I did. I had a few items powdered, cost me $40.00.

Replaced the Profile wheels on my '08 Train (smoothie front and solid Alcoa rear disc) with a WideGlide front and CrossBones rear. Both gloss, both 40-spoke. TRANSFORMED my bike.

Got 'em both off ebay. Just took some patience waiting until what I wanted came along.
