Didn't like it at all always got in the way.
I took it off and put the chrome cover on.
My bike came without the heel shifter and had the chrome cap on the end. I removed the cap and put on a chrome spacer instead. Now the shift peg is out about an inch further and I don't feel like I'm shifting pigeon toed.
