So I have bought this bike from my boss. As I have been cleaning (it had been setting for a while) I have been slowly figuring out what all he has done to it. I'm figuring out he had spent a lot more money on it than I thought. I have been listing thing in my garage as I run up on them. If you have any ideas on other places I can look to see if he's put custom parts on help me out. I was wondering if there is any way to figure out if it has a stroker kit in it without pulling it apart. I know when I was drag racing they had a deal they could hook up to check CI on your motor without pulling it apart, do they have anything like that for a motorcycle?
U need to find out what dealer he bought it at too. They also should be able to get a print out of what been done to the bike if they did any work on it..
Computers are a great help if the dealer entered what he bought there, and also service records should be in there.
I bought stuff at three dealers, and I can get a print out of all the items I've bought and work done, if I ask for it.
I agree, what's wrong with just coming out and asking? I mean granted he's your boss, but you bought his bike so the boss - subordinate relationship must not be a big issue. You've obviously already crossed that line if it was. Ask him.
There's nothing wrong with that at all I have, he laughs and says "I don't have a f***ing clue" his son I law has a shop, he dropped it off and told him to have at it, evidently all he asked was for them to make it bada$$. It's not a situation where I can just go talk to his son in law. I'm not stressing over just trying to figure out about my bike. I'm getting the feeling I shouldn't have asked.
