Default La Briola Jockey Shift...pics ??

I am planning on putting a jockey shift on my 08 Fat Boy. I am having a hard time trying to figure out if I want to order the shift arm longer (an inch or two).
From the pics that I see it appears the shift arm seems to be located "under" your left leg, I just don't want to have to go searching for a shift arm when I need to.

Just wondering if anyone else finds their jockey shift to short or has extended their shift arm a bit ?

Thank in advance.

Actually, I find mine is too long and would like it to be shorter. Order the kit as is and don't worry about it, you'll be fine.

I built my own foot clutch setup, but I picked up a shift arm on eBay and ended up modifying it a bit. I just wanted it in a different spot, it would have worked just fine the way it came. You'll find no matter where it's located, the first few times you reach for it you'll be searching a bit, but after that muscle memory takes over and ya don't even think about it anymore. Good luck, you'll love the foot/jockey setup!

I've also been thinking about this setup, I even went one step further and bought it, LOL, its still in the garage waiting to be fitted, I just can't seem to get around to fitting it, maybe one day soon.

Might have to upgrade or is this considered a downgrade?
