Default '11 Fatboy Lo Slip-Ons

Do the HD Screamin' Eagle slip-ons do much of anything? I am looking for louder sound, but can't afford the intake/exhaust/tuner combo right now.

I think rush, cycle shack, and python give better sound....although big city thunder makes baffles for the se2 mufflers .....

Unless they have changed them in the last several yrs the SE muffs are still EPA cert.

meaning they are barely louder than stock. Back in 07 I only knew 2 guys who bought them and within a couple months they then bought others pipes.

Here in the Mid central states Rush has a big showing in the slip on muffler area.

Had my 2''ers for 5 yrs and still look new and I still love them. If U'r only doing the pipes then the 1 3/4 baffles is what Rush recommends now.

heres a sound of the 1 3/4''ers.

I put the rush 1.75 on my 2010 Lo when I first got her and she was pretty loud. You can't go wrong with them if ya just want louder than stock and the quality is good as well.

I love my Rush slip ons with the 1.75" baffle. Got them on E-Bay for $50 plus shipping brand new. They sound great.

I had the SE slip ons on my '07 Fatboy, they didn't do much for the sound till i drilled them out after a month, alot better then. Not sure on Rush but seems to be popular for just slips.

And you don't need the tuner for the EFI 96ci motor? Sorry about all the dumb questions, I just graduated from an '05 carburated Shadow.

No not if you just put baffles on. You would if you changed your air intake.

I have a set of the Screamin Eagle Street Performance slip-ons I will sell you. Used for about one season, then wanted something louder. Great condition and will let them go for half price of new. They have a deeper tone than stock but aren't really that much louder. PM me if interested.

If you are ready to spend on a SE Slip-On, I'd say you wait save up some more and go for a full exhaust from V&H or such. But that's just my opinion ...
