This is what I use though very seldom. Luckily my stock bars are the first I have had that did not put my hands to sleep. I usually stop on long rides and take a quick stretch every couple of hours and that helps a lot.

Barefoot ******* throttle tender
Will lock my grip And UNLOCK it with 1 touch of my thumb.
And this is why I have used it on open roads since 2008 and that means 65k in miles with the original throttle brake shoes on my last dyna. It is now on my FXSTC.

I installed the throttle mate. It is obviously more complicated to install than the barefoot unit. It is also more finished, and in my opinion, of higher quality. I find it to function simply and dependably and looks like an integrated part of the motorcycle. I have put thousands of miles on my unit and would recommend it without reservation.

Thanks for this Knees. Seems like a simple economical cruise control system for my softails. How do you like it?
