Default Throttle Mate vs. Barefoot ******* Throttle Tender

I just ordered and received both of these today. I've never tried one before. Will be using on my '11 heritage.

If you've tried both share which one you like best and why. I'll share some feedback after a couple of test drives tomorrow.

I've been using the Crampbuster. It takes some getting used to so give it a few weeks.

I had a throttle mate on a Heritage and liked it! I had to play around with the tension screw to get it set in the position that worked best! Not familiar with the throttle tender! I have a cramp buster on my Fat Boy that works OK but gets in the way at times. Might be time for another throttle mate!

I have/use the Throttle Mate for over a year. Used to cost ~$9.00 but I looked it up and it's $29.00 now. Must be popular. I like it alot since I use it for long trips......gives my arm/wrist a break. I've seen the Barefoot ******* and it looks pretty simple to mount and use I'm just not sure if the plastic will hold up over the long haul.........be nice to know what you think about them.

I just picked up the Barefoot ******* because of this thread....I put it on my Softail and worked like a champ..bought it for the bagger, little less impressed on it. Seems like there's a little more tension on the bagger throttle and on release I have to help it back a little. I think it will be ok to give me a rest on long hauls..

Been using it since 08, cause it plain works! Life time replacement if it breaks. And it has not since 08. Just ordered one for my Gal's sporty.

That and a some type of cramp buster is the TICKET!

Default Eat Broccoli-Get free Cruise control!!!

Hello All
Buy a head of broccoli and save the thick rubber band.
Double it and place between your throttle grip and R controls.
Just enough tension to give the wrist a rest .
Works great and you get your veggies!!!

I will just throw this out there. Use the Kuryakyn Iso grip. Mine has the built in palm rest. Makes the longer rides much easier. If you need to take your hand all the way off. The stock screw works fine.
