Default 21"wheel on Fatboy without changing Rear?

Ok first i do love the wheels that came with my Fatboy Lo from the factory! With that being said i really love the look of the fat 21" wheels on these bikes! But they are not cheep to say the least. If i would put a 21" black Machined wheel like the black widow or something like the ones on Ebay would it look good with out changing the rear stock wheel?? Also would it fit with out changing the fender? Looking at the 21x3.5 cause i want the fatter tire! Anybody done this before and how does it look?

Won't fit under the fender

Would look fine with the stock rear wheel

Bigger fender or some custom brackets to raise the stock fender will definitely be needed as Kozy said. I don't know of anyone who makes brackets to raise a fatboy fender for a softail.

Not with a deluxe.

You could get a deluxe or custom fender. I'm sure brackets wouldn't be too hard either

With the Deluxe and Heritage fenders there is no need to raise the fender. On baggers the rear of the front fender should be raised slightly (3/8") to ensure no tire rub on the highway as the tire grows in height at speed. You raise the bagger fender ever so slightly by boring out the rear mounting holes.
