Softail Custom: Correct Metzeler Tire Pressure?
2007 Softail Custom.
Just started running Metzelers in the stock size (FT:MH90-21 & RR:200/55/17).
When riding solo, I previously filled the stock Dunlops to: FT:35 psi & RR:38 psi
It's my understanding that Metzelers like higher than stock tire pressure.
Does anyone know the correct Metzeler pressure for my application?
Thanks

I just replaced my tires on my Rocker-C with Metzelers and the shop told me to go by the maximum pressure shown on the sidewall. In my case, that would be 40 PSI front and 41 PSI rear. That is what I am going to do with mine, but on this subject, you can get 1,000 different opinions.
Sorry man, just a careful guy here, when it comes to tires on bikes!
Maybe too careful... wait for the other 999 opinions!

Well, here's an opinion...if you inflate to the MAX, then ride that bitch like yu stole it on hot blacktop at high noon in August, what's gonna happen to MAX Pressure? Max is Max, and then well, good luck.
