Default Show us ur Bar Choices for WideGlide fronts (NO Apes , NO Drags). !

Hi folks,
I am wondering if anyone has Beach bars, Bikini bars, or anything interesting or different on the Wide Glide front ends for the FXST/C/B/D family ?.

Aside from the wide variety of Apes/Mini-Apes and Drag Bars that we all put here, anybody tried something different on that Wide glide 41 with the 21 Narrow tire ?.

Curious !..

18in Carlini apes.

NO! I'm kidding!

Are you looking for something specific or just new ideas? Narrow Beach Bars are very comfortable for me and my bike has the same general shape as yours.

first of all, I hope you aren't planning on changing bars. Your current choice, IMO, is absolutely perfect for your ride. I couldn't picture beach bars on a FX front end....

your avatar is **** by the way

+1 on both statements

I can't very well make a suggestion on something I don't know though.

hi RIP, thanks for the reply ,
Yeaa the Springer front end changes the look dramatically.

Brett,
You are probably right, I was just looking for ideas, my bars are perfect in certain angles, but because they are slightly narrow (made for sportsters and midglide) they sometimes look out of shape from certain angles, specially with the wider trees and tank.

I am trying to keep an open mind, next year I am thinking of slightly wider chubbier bars (not much higher) and also contemplating a tree change , maybe and Aluminum one, chave a few pounds etc..

But then again.. I may just listen to my wife and stop spending money

I don't think beach/bikini bars would be "it" on a WG. But my daughter keeps telling me I don't have any taste. As in I'm a candidate for "What not to Wear".

I was looking for anything different, you know, rabbit ears, some custom made bars, or even some interestingly shaped buckhorns, there are plenty of choices, I just see only Apes/Mini Apes and T bars.. which makes me wonder , is there anything out there ? .. you guys are so far saying no there is not

If the bars you have are comfortable, I wouldn't consider it "compromising" to keep them. They look nice.

Rabbit ears would be old school. But they are narrow too, aren't they?

If you are considering changing the front end, then the bar swap will probably be in order. Your bike is pretty sweet the way it is set up now.

I can sympathize with you. When I get an idea in my head I'm not happy until I do it. I'm spending another 2K on powder coating, tires and another A/C. My indy actually talked me out of doing more changes. Maybe if you try BR bars, I think that's the name. They make custom bars, not cheap but top notch stuff.
