Rick does good work. He has done several pieces for me and I have been satisfied with both price and quality.
Since you asked for an opinion on covers or chrome swing arm, here's mine. I had the Kuryakyn covers for a long time and most people never knew the difference. I put the chrome swing arm on after an accident since it was already torn down. If it were not for the accident I probably would not have changed unless I just had the extra money. The chrome swing arm definitely looks better but it is a pretty hefty cost verses reward. If you have the money the chrome swing arm is the way to go.
I bought a swingarm off eBay for $45. Cleaned up the welds myself and sent it out to Ogden Chrome. Cost me $300. Then I took my old one off, put the new one on and sold my old one on eBay and got $90 for it. No down time besides the actual swap day. I agree with the others, chromed looks so much better than the covers. I had the covers till I saved up to get it chromed.
Cleaning would be about the same for either. The covers look like covers. They're nice for what they are, but they're still just covers. The chrome swing-arm is the real deal, and looks like the real deal. I have the covers on mine for now because they're cheap & easy. But plan to do the "real deal" next winter.
Your covers look great! They clean up just as good as the chrome swing arm! Just my opinion. Kozy's look sic too!

The one you bought on ebay, was that $45.00 shipped? That $300.00 to get yours chromed by Ogden, did that include shipping both ways?

If I may, I will answer your question. Yes, those are chrome swingarm covers.
