Default 2011 HD Heritage Classic

Gents, I am new to this...so bear with me.
Bought my 2011 Harley back in Nov, and rode it around town (here in Germany) until I had about 2k on it. Got the 1st service done (late I know, but the Harley garage where I got it done said it was running like I drove it off the floor).....Anyway, no mods up to this point, but I did put on some full boar exhaust slip-ons (this morning) to give it that "throaty" sound. Sounds great!!!!

My question is do I need to tune/dyno it now? I've read a couple of posts that say no....some that say yes. No other mods to the bike have been done at this time...there is a plan for an open air intake soon....but that may be spring/summer time.

Thanks for your help ahead of time. I've already learned a lot just by reading these posts.

I rode mine half a season with slipons and no tune and had no trouble. As soon as you do the ac then you have to go something, either hd flash or get a tunner. Even a stock bike will run better with a good tuner, so if you have the coin and there's a decent dyno shop around, then get a tuner. If there's no dyno shop around, try getting something with auto-tune.

Thanks jlasoftail, and that's pretty much the "majority" of what I've seen being said. This is my first Harley, and I'm very protective of her....don't want to start something and find out I should have done something else or additional out the hard way.

Appreciate your time.

No need for a tuner if you added only slip ons. If you change the a/c, you'll need some sort of fuel management. But by then, you'll probably want to add a full exhaust system.
