Relocating ECM? Shorai battery?
Just ordered the RSD fender kit for my 2009 Night Train. I need to relocate the ECM. Thought about ordering the Shorai battery that I read about in this thread:

Has anybody tried this? Hows the battery holding up?

Hey guys. Just wanted to know what words of wisdom you can pass on about relocating ECM. Im getting ready to install rsd rear fender on my '09 Night Train and am already trying to figure out what to do about the ECM. Also, if anybody ran the rsd solo seat with the fender, how do you like it?

I was thinking about the rsd fender for my 09 train but I've seen alot of people relocate the ecm on there splash guard. I don't know how I feel about that or if there is another option for relocating it. Check out this link, it's a fender I am thinking about getting it's a lot cheaper then a heartland and you won't have to relocate the ecm as you would with rsd.

Been running a Shorai in my Triumph Scrambler for about a year now, including starts with temperatures in the teens. I love the thing. Will get one for my Road King when I've filled up the piggy bank again. The weight reduction is phenomenal, and warming the battery up (leaving the ignition switch and headlight on for a few minutes) before starting really works.

RSD recommends running the Yuasa YTX15L-BS 13Ah 230 CCA Maintenance-Free PowerSports Battery. i am looking into this battery as well cause my ecm is located in my splash guard right now and i want to move it under my seat. I figure for the price it is a good option cause it is under 100 dollars.

You're not worried about the reduced CCA's? My full size battery has 310. That's my only sticking point... besides having a brand new battery in the bike already. There's a company called Anti Gravity that makes a Lithium battery that weighs next to nothing and has 600 CCA's in a smaller package. BUT... it costs over $300. So, probably won't be getting that one any time soon.
