Default Jay Brake J FX forward controls

Im interested in the JayBrake J FX forward controls for my 2003 Fatboy because im looking to get a little more extension for my legs while riding. I currently have stock floorboards right now and always ride with my heels on the very end of the boards. Im thinking that I would need at least 2" of extension to be the most comfortable. I like the idea also that the J FX model uses the factory master cycliner, hopefully work with the stock shift rod, and stock kick stand. That alone should save me a bunch of money. If anyone has experiance with these controls how do you feel about them? I know there other controls say 2 3/8" extension but these dont say what range of extension you will get being that they are adjustable.

It doesn't look like it actually moves them farther forward than where the stock forward control mounting holes put them. They look like you would use them if you had mid controls and wanted forwards.
If your fatboy already has forwards on it, look into Arlen Ness' extension kit. When I priced it out the 3" I want to get for my Train, it was about $200. A lot cheaper than that kit from Jaybrake.

They won't be like mid controls. They're forward control. But if you're putting your heels on the ends of your floorboards, and find that where you want your feet, then buying those wouldn't be worth it. You're feet won't be in the spot you want them in. If you want to keep your floorboards, just buy an extension kit. If you want pegs instead of the boards, look for a extended forward control kit.

That's not made for your bike, just something I found quickly on eBay.
