Default Mustang seat mounting question, 20011 Fatboy??

I just received the Mustang one piece Super Touring seat I ordered for my 2011 Fatboy. Do any of you know if I need to remove the bracket and two screws that attach the rear of the stock front seat or will the new seat go over them? If it goes over them, can I put the stock seat mounting nuts over them so the bracket and screws don't fall out? Thanks for any help!

I removed mine to be sure not to damage the new seat, besides..after you put a Mustang seat on you'll never go back to the factory seat again thus you won't need it. I kept the hardware just in case I ever sell the bike and the purchaser wants the original seat.

Thanks for the reply. How did you plug the two holes in your fender?

I saw your update and that you got our seat on. Looks good! It was then that I realized you had the one piece seat. I should have read closer. Anyway, I went with the 2 piece seat and I had to remove the bracket to install a different bracket for mounting the rear part of the main seat and the front part of the rear seat. So the holes were filled with another bracket. Enjoy the seat, I've tried every seat under the sun and found Mustang to be the best on long rides.
