One very simple rule of thumb to remember and it will make or break the looks of a bike. Apes are to be pointed straight up. Not inline with the forks or lower than the forks.

Going picture happy since I posted on another thread but my pics apply to this thread as well. I too was torn between gangsters or apes and 14 vs 16. I'm a short cat (at 5-6 and 3/4) so I pulled the trigger on the 1.5 thick 14 flying apes, glad I did, fit good and above my shoulder about 2-3 inches sitting on a bare bones seat. Also have the 2 inch carlini piston risers, hope the pics help

What type of license plate bracket is that? sick bike man...Did you fab that rear fender?
