Default Maiden Voyage of '07

Well, I just took my '05 FXST out for it's maiden voyage of '07 with the new front end on and my lord was it freakin' COLD! I finished this install last week on the 58 MM inverted front forks and a few other goodies and have been waiting for a day off and some decent weather to get out and do a shakedown run. The front end was produced by Ultima (http://www.ultimaproducts.com/inverted.htm) and can be seen at this link. Because the front wend was designed for a '99 and older model, I had to order a new brake caliper to go with it and do some minor machine work with the wheel spacing and the axle. I used a 4 piston differential bore Hawg Halters caliper for the front brake, which I must say I was very happy with. I don't have any pictures as of yet but I will work on that. It's pretty amazing how much different inverted front forks ride, they are so much more responsive to road conditions and they don't have the slop that the Wide Glide front end did.
