Winter is Official now that I've.....
 

Tonight was the first night for this winter..
Ever since I got her back in 07, 6 times or more during winter storage I'll go out in the garage and just have a talk with her..

Usually I'll get a nice big cup of Cold Refreshment and sit in my chair right in front of her and ask her what she want's.

She's usually really shy, and wont answer me at first,,, That is, Till I go get my 2nd Cold Refreshment, then after most of the 2nd cup is gone, she'll open and I can hear her talk to me.. Ain't that just like a female.

Anybody else go to garage and just Stare, Look, Dream, Wish or talk to there Baby during storage..

Surely it "can't" be I just do that to be alone and have a Cold Refreshment..:icon_toast:

Bro, I do the same thing atleast 3-5 times a week! Usually crack a beer which always leads to atleast 3 along with a couple of butts as I just stare at my bikes and try and figure my next move. The Heritge is almost done which is nice so I usually just stare in awe, sometimes I can't even believe its mine..lol

I usually start piling parts up next to her and say "don't worry baby, this aint going to hurt a bit...a little tuck here and a nip there and then you'll be perfect this time, I promise"

Its hard to lie to her like that when I have 4 more pages ear marked in the catalog already..

was a sad day last Friday when I waited till the last possible minute to take her to storage at the dealer before our lake effect buffalo winter hits. had a few cold ones and cleaned it up nice before the final ride of the season to the dealer storage. snapped a few pics so I could remember what it looked like during the long upcoming winter months, so sad. lol

I really feel for you guys maybe your "girls" need to come visit a warmer climate! I feel bad when I complain about 60 degree weather here :icon_lolsign:

what's a garage?

I find it to be very therapeutic hanging out in the garage havin a wobbly and makin biker noises.

I just ride mine - riding home from work in a few minutes.

I do the same thing. I'm in the spare garage with the bikes at least 2-3 times a day....Always trying to figure out my next project.

This was a big year for the touring bike. I converted (almost finished, waiting for paint) my Street Glide into a Road Glide.

I should be finished by the end of the year....

After that, the Heritage Springer takes a ride on the jack for a while. Time to update the cam chest to 07+ specs, and wake her up a bit before spring....

(all this, as I look at the snow-drifts piling up outside the garage today - might be time for a couple Leinenkugel SnowDrift Vanilla Porters)
