started my jockey install!

So i ordered a jockey shift from labriola for my 2009 cross bones and started removing the old shift pegs, clutch housing, linkage, and clutch cable. I am really excited because it is gonna look so bad ass! I will post some pictures when I figure out how to post on here. Took the clutch perch to local auto body store and they ground it down for me and painted it for me. if anyone has any tips I would appreciate it any questions i'll try to do my best with my limited knowledge to answer them. Wish me luck boys! Here is a link to the shift knob I picked:

kind of trying to do some brass accents here and there to go with my brass grips and copper plated apes

And thanks to all those that have answered my pesky pms so far, this forum rules!

I love that shift knob. Very cool. The only other I like more re the NYC public school door knobs that have been converted.

Hey man, if you need more help, just let me know!

When you change the clutch cable, put your bike on 2x4s and the kickstand so it leans over farther. Then, you won't lose your transmission fluid or have to drain it.

Other than that, have fun!

Good on you, man! Your only problem will be after your first ride, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner!!

rgjujitsu 03-21-2013 09:23 PM

Did anyone notice that the supplied bolt for the bottom of the shift arm was too long?

Branner 03-21-2013 09:54 PM

Yes, use your existing ones.

rgjujitsu 03-21-2013 10:07 PM

And what held the top bolt in for you? Thanks.
