Todd's Strip Bars
 

Thanks to some of the other posts on this forum (defkert), I decided to pick up the Blackline Strip Bars from Todd's Cycle. I didn't want anything to tall, so these bars fit the bill for my needs. I had toyed with the idea of relocating the speedo and using risers, but truth be told, I like the look of the separate bars and the stock speedo mount. I mocked the bars up today to see what I needed for new cables. The stock electrical is more than adequate, but I calculated that +4" throttle, idle, clutch, and brake lines will be perfect. The cables will be ordered tomorrow along with RSD Tracker (contrast) grips and some black levers.

I will post more pics on here when done, but for now, here are some crappy (mockup) pics from my phone. Thanks again for all the great posts that make it easier to determine what works on my bike...this site is a great resource.

i have the same bars on mine, i went with the standard FLSTC cables and they worked out great

Did you just buy them from the dealer? How much did they run?

yea, just grabbed them from the dealer, stock cables, around $230 i think. i wanted the black diamond cables, but couldn't bring myself to pay $320 MORE for them.

I ordered the Magnum Shield Black Pearl cables form a local bike shop (not HD). He is getting them for $250 for the clutch, brake, throttle, and idle cables, They should be hear on Monday.

Those bars are sweeeeeeeeeeet! Very nice!

does your bike have ABS? only asking because that's one hell of a price if it does

No ABS on my bike. I am sure that is why the price difference.
