Hey folks. New to the forum here. I have a quick question. I bought the HD Billet headlamp shell for my Deuce and the instructions said to remove the gas tank to disconnect the headlamp wiring harness. What??? I justtook apart the wiring from the plug, pullled the wiring out of the old shell andthreaded it back into the new shell. Works fine. So what am I missing here??? Whatis the removing the gas tank part?? Is that a safety and liability issue from Harley's standpoint? I did disconnect the battery of course. Just curious.
