loctite
Some habits are good and from my days of riding shovelheads external stuff gets Loctite. If I didn't it usually wasn't there by the end of the day. I definitely wouldn't use it on headbolts cause it would be difficult to get an accurate torque. I would deffinately use it on your mounting bolts for engine and tranny mounts just for piece of mind. It really ruins your day to have a stud come loose on the tranny. As for getting them loose make sure you use the right product to start with and a little heat helps. Know there are different grades like blue for most fasteners that will possibly be removed again in their life time. Red is for serious holding when you think you'll never take it off again and if you do heat helps. Green is you're not going to take it apart without a lot of cussing and throwing stuff around. And the book does call for Loctite occasionally. Cam sprocket bolts come to mind for tc.
