What's a good replacement stator for the 09 night train?

 

Cyclecelectric is the way cto go. You would do well to also go with their rectifier for max efficiency and longevity.

 

+1, for Cycle Electric products. Quality products made in the good old USA. Their Stator will provide higher volts at lower RMPs than your stock system.

 

Cycle Electric or Compufire. After no less than 3 OEM stator failures by 57,000 miles I replace the system with a 3 phase Compufire. That was 6 years ago and I've got 150,000 miles on the bike now. Either company sells a good product.
