Default Heritage Saggy Bags Restoration

Do any of you guys know if there is a decent how-to video or photo diagram on the web showing the installation process for the saggy bags restoration?

Default Question

Steve, do you have the "Saggy Bag" item in your possession ? The instructions are pretty straight forward. I've installed two sets without issue. I'm no mechanic, believe me! Gluing the bag lid supports are a bit of a pain though. That said, the product works great!

+1 with iron oxide, I installed them on my wife's Heritage and they look like factory.

I'm assuming you are referring to the product "GotSaggyBags".
I'm not sure if there's a video, but I do recall that I was a bit confused at first.

Being retired military, I always have a problem with directions that have any assumptions in them.
Even assumptions that seem obvious to most people.

I had a bitch getting the long plastic piece under the front and rear seams.

I recall placing one end of the plastic under the front seam, then with one hand bending the bottom center of the plastic up a bit, then with the other hand placing the other end of the plastic under the rear seam, then snapping the bottom down. This forced the plastic under the front and rear seams and there was actually a snap sound when I pushed the middle down.

As for the lid pieces, I followed the directions as written and cut out two templates, spreaded the glue out, placed the plastic lid pieces on the glue, then placing the templates on the plastic followed by about 25 .lbs. of weights.

I let it sit for two days and the lids are now firm
I'm very pleased with the results.

Good luck.
