Does anyone know if you can go with 8 or 10 inch mini APES without having to do a wire extension or extending the cables? I have searched and searched but can seem to find the awnser thanks

I wanted to go 16s but having to high of bars seems to get a lot of people DUI's around here..... my 14s are illegal but i havent gotten picked up yet.
