Having trouble figuring out which passenger footboards will fit on 2013 Softail Heritage Classic with quick release saddlebags and V&H pipes - I think pipes are Big Shot Staggered but not positive as I didn't install them.

Currently bike has passenger pegs and dealer tells me I can only do mini footboards due to location of saddlebags, exhaust, whatever else. But wife wants full size passenger footboards. They say this is only possible if I have some custom fabrication done. Really?

Ideally want 52715-04A footboards which say Saddlebag bracket relocation kit is required for FLSTC, which I'll gladly buy, or will this not work with the quick release saddlebags?

Also noticed a different style 50396-05 that says it will work with '86 and later softails equipped with passenger footboard supports. Is there a reason these wouldn't work?

Has anyone installed passenger footboards on same configuration, and if so, what did you have to do to make it work?

These parts are expensive so I don't want to waste money!
