Default Saggy Bags

This question is for anyone that has installed them. Was it a simple install or a PITA? Thanks.

I have them on mine. Pretty straight forward and easy. The longest process was glueing the stiffener to the upper lid and waiting for the glue to dry. I did it on my 2011 Heritage and when I bought my 2013 I had the bags tranfered to the new bike. They looked as good as the new ones after 2 years.

I went with PapaBags on mine. Simple installation, no glue, puts the bags back like they should be.

If you can change a light bulb in your house, you can install the PapaBags!

Problem with my stock Heritage bags (besides the fact that I hate them) is that they sagged and deformed and then set that way. Even uglier now.

If you're going to do the inserts, do it before your bags deform.

I plan on doing this as a winter project, my bags are still like new, no sag yet.

I installed "gotsaggybags" and am happy with it.

There's quite a few "instructions" on this forum.
After you order the kit, take a few minutes, do a search and read through all the post.

It's not that difficult other than perhaps cutting out a plywood to glue the lid panels on.
You may even find that you don't want the lid supports after you install the rest of the kit.

If you run into problems just post it here and we'll help.

I fitted the Harley frame and locks, works fine, had them fitted for a year now, and the bags look great - 2007 Heritage
