Default My 2003 Deuce Makeover with 250 Rear

Hey All,

I haven't posted much lately, as I was doing a 250 mod to my Deuce and finally completed it. Here's some pics from the beginning. I'll try and update as I do more work to it.

I also want to give a shout out to Drew from HogPro, who gave me a discount off of the Heartland 250 kit when I bought it from him! Thanks Buddy!

The beginning:
Picked this up from a private seller in January of 2013.

Installed flush mount gas cap and gas gauge:

Got these Breakout wheels from a seller on ebay:

Got the Breakout wheels and 250 properly spaced and mounted. The fenders are being fitted. I had the rear fender placed 1/4" off the tire with the suspension bottomed out to the bump stops.

The front tire is a 120 on a 3.5x21" wheel:

The primary is opened up to get the extended shaft in:

Took out the oil tank to get it powdercoated gloss black:

Here's my unfinished fenders before painting. Already fitted and drilled out.

Here they are once painted at my friend's shop. Lucky me, he did them for free!

Here's some shots of the belt clearance. Only a couple of millimeters between the tire and belt and swing arm and belt!

Piecing everything back together:

Finally got her back home for Thanksgiving. Gave her a few easy miles, then some hard riding to make sure everything was sorted out. She's all ready for our Toys for Tots ride on Sunday!

Looks awesome man! Have you thought about maybe chopping that front fender? I think a smaller one would make it look better! But overall I love it!
