Did you just install the pipes or did you do a computer upgrade as well?

Just installed the pipes, left ECU alone.
Only slip-ons, so not needed.

Will do the ECU when I replace the air cleaner.

Took it out for a ride with the new pipes and intake, decided i need a seat that moves me forward an inch or three.
Looked at Danny gray, but dont see an option for reduced reach so i will call them on monday.
Any other seat suggestions. I only ride solo so the back seat is of no concern

The Reach Seat did that for me. I'm 5'6 with a 27" inseam...needed all the help I could get. Plus it puts me a little lower to the ground.

Make sure the handlebars are positioned where they are most confortable. The guys who install them at the deal;ership must all be 6' or taller.

LePera has a solo seat called the "up front". Moves you forward approx. 2". It's listed for softail models through '17 so I don't know about the '18 model fitment.
I had the same situation on a Road King and put one on it. Maybe not the most comfortable seat for some folks but it worked for me.

Went for a nice 150 mile putt yesterday...about half country roads and half interstate.

It was nice after a long cold winter to ride in 75* temps!

Saw this Copper highlighted bagger-

Got home and decided to check out my floorboards.

I like to scrape, even when I don't need to...making sparks is just fun.

Over time I have effectively increased my lean angle a few degrees.

BUT, I'm about at the limit. While I don't mind scraping the boards, because they move...I'm at the point where when I lean enough to scrape the boards, it's also beginning to scrape other, non-moving parts.

So, I'll either have to stop scraping, get new boards, or, what I'll probably do is get some Titanium feelers to put on the bottom of the floorboards.

These will let me touch down, not hit any hard parts I don't want to, and make lots of sparks.

Talking Oil tank

Well that damn hose from the oil tank (drain line) has been removed, replaced with a much stronger 3/4 hose and brass 90 degree coupler that works like a charm. That cheap hose that is stock is thin and useless, sorry i should have taken some pictures. Going to make a few more and sell them for $25.

When your feet start getting warm it's time to replace the boards or maybe get some flat track boots/shoes (the steel soled ones)
