stopped by a machine shop to have a spacer fabricated for a license plate light so I can relocate the plate to the rear axle

Default Well 14 days of rain I made leather mud flaps

After 14 days of rain down here. Didnt get much riding in. Had some extra black leather. So made a set of mud flaps. I think the front is a little low the concho tie leather hits ground when sitting still. But at least it might help with keeping regulator and front of engine a little cleaner.

I replaced my worn brake rotors with a new PM floating version and replaced the rear master cylinder, pegs, and forward controls.

Default Getter done

I kind of let some stuff slide over the winter, now I am trying to get everything done while trying to ride as much as possible

I picked this up used last fall from a fellow softail rider who had hung up his helmet.
I looked at new ones but wanted to modify most of them.
Why buy a new one just to slice it up?

The piece at the bottom is what I cut off.
I am also moving the brackets up, about 3/8" so it fits tighter around the headlight.
Man my shop is a mess...

I see your bike lives outside. What is the canvas housing that appears in the photo.

Thanks

I don't have a garage so winter storage is a box in my shed to ensure it's kept rodent free. During The driving season I use a cover called Bike Barn. 10 year pro-rated warranty on the cover and lifetime on the frame. It allows driving in and closing the cover without waiting for the bike to cooldown.keeps the bike dry and clean. The cover also keeps my snowblower covered in the winter
