Thumbs up IAC valve change

I finally got my mechanical IAC valve replacement from Germany and installed it , loosen fuel tank remove fuel line, loosen and remove throttle cables from body and remove IAC valve replacing with mechanical version. Not hard but the throttle cable holder frame that goes over IAC would not clear locknut on detent screw, so had to get a carbide and grind out a semi-circle for clearance, no big deal but extra. Works fine, warmed up engine and idled down around 800 rpm which is lot's better than the1100 or 1150 it was. I suppose I should say this is a 2013 FLSTC 103 cu, I have a MP3 tuner and I'm not real familiar with it yet, but I had finished an autotune and am not sure about having to perhaps adjust the idle vs temp scale , I don't know if ECM will adjust timing to the lowered idle speed on its own or not ( anyone know?) May just have to start a new tune. But it's nice to hear my scooter sound like a Harley at idle again... Oh I want to mention if you choose to do this remember to leave the original valve hooked into harness and tie wrap it up under there (plenty of space) or you"ll get a code. Odd thing happened ,I pulled on the tie wrap around the wire running to the IAC and it pulled it out of the connector a little which at the time I didn't notice, when I went to start the engine I heard a sort of rattling sound coming from the fuel pump, never heard before so I knew I caused same, start a look see and saw a little green from the silicon seal in connector and cut the tie re fixed same, sound gone... Anyway that's what I did to my softail today... Straight and true ,Spring will come. Standing by.

Sounds like a better plan than this one.

Finished up my external breather hose rerouting. Saw a picture of someone
else's on the forum done like this & figured I'd route 'em the same way.
Here's a crappy phone pic;

Might be a crappy cell phone pic (your words), but you did a fine job on the hoses!
