Default And so it begins.. My 2013 Breakout FM 107" Build

I'd already made the decision to take the engine to 107" with FuelMoto's 107" Big Bore kit. Figured it was time to start stripping the top end while I wait for the cam tools to arrive, then once our bi-annual bonus arrives here in a couple weeks, I'll be ordering the kit - along with ported hi-flow heads. Already talked to Jamey over at FM and he said that I should have no issues with the new 103B engine that comes with the new FXSB.

Looking forward to an a$$load of torque!

Suprisingly, YES! Fortunately Harley made each and every one different (except for, I think the injectors and the ACR's) so it shouldn't be hard to get everything plugged back in.

107" kit, domed 1.5:1 pistons, level B heads, and a heavy duty clutch spring has been ordered finally from FM. Hopefully all those goods will get here quick!

And so it begins.. My 2013 Breakout FM 107" Build-nbooase.jpg

All I have left to do is pull the pistons and start putting her back together with the new parts.

I'm waiting to hear from Brian or someone at FM, but I believe those numbers are just from the standard 107" kit. Not with the level B heads..

To my surprise, I had a box waiting for me on the porch last night! Unfortunately, it was the cylinders only, so I can't actually start doing anything yet.. Still, I was impressed that parts have already started arriving, and I may be able to start building Monday evening as long as Fedex doesn't screw me.
