Mystery plug
 

Good morning friends. No, not another B+ connector question. Yesterday, I removed the voltage regulator from my 08 FXSTC, along with the metal plate it mounts to, (48159-08). Mounted to this plate was a 3 wire plug that just dead ends. It has dummy plug in it to keep trash out, but thats it. Anybody know what this is? It's obvious it serves no purpose on my specific bike, but it has to do something perhaps on a different application. I just have my curiosity about it now. Anybody know?? Thanks my friends.

My 08 crossbones exhaust gas analyzer wire attaches to the plate that holds the Regulator and I think it's a three wire. So you have the analyzer on the FX?

No, I don't have that on my particular bike. But I'm sure the wire harness on mine isn't model specific, in that it is probably used on several models. Thanks for the info.
