So I still have the Stock Breakout exhaust on. The heat coming off them is not too bad, I am in the market for a new exhaust but worry about increased heat. My buddy has a 2 in 1 RSD on his street bob and the heat is crazy coming off it.
What are the factors that are involved with the heat coming off exhaust? Are they all pretty much the same and depend on the tune?
I just don't want to be stuck in traffic and be that much more miserable with a leg on fire.
A good tune goes a long way in reducing heat,my stock pipes almost left my pants singed...changed pipes to v and h short shots got a tune and it greatly reduced the heat.
