pinion gear getting stuck
have a primo enclosed belt drive system, also have 10 tooth primo pinion gear it gets stuck on the ring gear??
there's lots of play on the jack shaft meaning i can move pinion gear up and down on the shaft is it supposed to be like this? i have stock inner and outer primaries rev tech tranny primo belt drive spyke starter:icon_verzsilly: |
is it poss i have the coupler in backwards? which side should the snap ring be closest too the starter or clutch side

this is a new build soo it's still on the lift just getting the primary squared away...last night i got it to work good but....every once in a while it let's out a grind noise
i hear this happen on the belt drives from time to time but i'd like to try and get rid of that noise all together |
i should also point out this is my first open primary soo maybe this noise is to be expected seeing there is no outter primary on to baffle that noise
