I'm trying to figure out why these wouldn't work on my 94 FXSTC?

I have no idea why. Do you have the cable setup that uses the 2 ferrules that hold the cables to the grip?

Yes, the only thing I can see is the clutch side has a wider flair on one side where it goes under the switch housing. Like it's keyed.

Grips arrived today. Remember when I asked about fitment? Well I got my answer.FYI, The part of the grip that is supposed to be surrounded by the lip of the switch housing is to large to fit into the older perches.
It's to bad, nice grips. I tried to "adjust" it, totally F'd it up.
Oh well.
