Piedmont, not far enough north from the cesspool of Charlotte.

Really? Why is that? I always thought it was average for a medium size of a town. I never stopped and stayed over at all; just passing through.

Out towards Benson.
Lived in Gastonia for a few years while going to UNCC that was long enough.

Born and raised in Asheville, NC for 21 years before joining the navy... Currently in Malibu, Ca but call Asheville home...

I have often said.... the best view of Charlotte, was seeing it recede in my rear view mirror
But then again I live in Raleigh, a town known for sheltering the very worse all 100 counties of NC can elect... thankfully they do go away... and often
