We are Rolling Thunder NC 2 Statesville, NC

We are quickly becoming the LARGEST RT chapter in North Carolina!

We work HARD for our vets and we raise a lot of money that goes totally back to them.

Our Chapter goes to the VA in Salisbury, NC twice a month and lead a BINGO game for the vets. It is a way to put a smile on their faces, give them a chance to socialize and allow them to win money so they can buy drinks and snacks from the vending machines. We are going tomorrow night, Friday 6-8 at 7pm Building #6 if anyone is interested in joining us! It is a BLESSING to US!

We support the restoration home in Asheville, NC. There are currently 252 men there. For Christmas we took a wrapped gift to every man there which included a sweat shirt, socks, pair of gloves and a hat. When you have nothing that is a real Christmas. That was $4k in cost! Just last month we took a large truck up with cases of foot powder, deodorant and air freshener! Total cost $1500.00. For Thanksgiving we supply enough food for them to have a full and complete Thanksgiving dinner. Then we just had a contest for our High School graduates that signed up. We had three this year that did research on the POW/MIA issue and made a presentation to the chapter. We voted and the winner won a very nice scholarship. We plan to expand this next year so more than one student has an opportunity to win. Then the ranch that has been established in Virginia to help vets suffering from PTSD has become another organization we are sponsoring with time, events and MONEY!
