Has anyone been to Myrtle Beach lately? Any recommendations on events or "must do" activities? I'll be going for the first time next spring.

 

Murrells Inlet, SBB and the Beaver Bar

We love Murrell’s Inlet. Lots of vendors and excellent restaurants down at the river walk. A great ride is south to George Town. Right on the ICW with a lot of charm and restaurants. If going down leave and get back before dark. The deer are out at night by the hundreds south of MB.

Two dealerships in MB and worth the ride north into NC to visit Beach House HD in Shallotte. Check their website as they usually have some great rides going on during the rally.

Your not that far from Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. A easy ferry ride across the Cape Fear River. Beautiful area.

Make sure you ride through Barefoot Landing for a photograph. That photographer does a nice job. One of our favorite stops is Captain Archie’s in North Myrtle on the ICW. Lots of bikes, bar, restaurant and a loud band! They do excellent photo’s there when you ride in.

The Fall Rally is a bit quieter with all the same activities and vendors, plus the weather is nicer and not as many tourists on the roads trying to kill you.

 

I am planning on going to the fall rally this year. It will be my first time.

 

I like the fall rally way better because it’s a bit cooler
