Weather this time of year Tenn/NC border
Hello all. Posted a thread about riding the dragon in about a week. 6 of us going and basically looking for insight on what the weather is in that area this time of year. We’re tryint to pack as logistically as possible as we’re headed to Biketoberfest right after the dragon. Any insight on typical weather conditions would be great. And yes I know how to use the weather apps 🙄 thanks

Just had Facebook " memory" pop up that we were down there two years ago this week (pic was on the Rattler). The day we left Maryland to head down it was drizzly and cold. The 4 days in Pigeon Forge were cold in the morning maybe upper 50's - low 60's but warmed up nicely each day to the upper 70's - low 80's. I do remember the entire ride home on the outer edge of hurricane Matthew that was hugging the east coast...that sucked!

Getting ready to head up to the Blue Ridge myself in a couple of weeks. From past experience it can go either way but usually it is quite temperate during the day, very pleasant for riding and pretty cool at night. I will be checking the 10 day before I leave to see if anything extreme is predicted.
