raleigh area roll call
#391
I might be in for this ride. I'm hoping to get a touring seat before the weekend and want to try it out. I'm planning on checking out that euro bike show they're gonna have downtown in Raleigh and a friend of mine wants to ride some too... He might even want to join in for this ride. He rides (the **** out of) a Yamaha Warrior. I'll keep an eye on the thread and see how things shape up and see if he wants to tag along or what comes of it all.

Ok, so enough of this "chatting between the ride" ... lets ride. I know people get busy this time of the year, but the weathers starting to get nice. This weekend looks a little cool, so how about the 17th, a Saturday. Maybe we could start at Aviator's ... I've attached a proposed route (http://rideplanner.harley-davidson.c...r/share/301517). Its about 3 1/2 round trip rural roads. If this don't meet every ones fancy, post your suggestion.

Well, I was thinking meet at Aviators at 10:30. Maybe leave around 11:00 ... gives stragglers a little window to show up. That will put us in Siler City around 12:30. Grab some lunch ... return trip is another 1 1/2 hours ... Aviators at beer 30. I can't make it this Saturday though. But, just throwing out stuff, seeing if anything sticks (to use political speak, hmmm, probably a bad idea). So, I'm flexible (except for this Saturday, actually I will be in the twin cities then, but I best not blow mom off for the birthday thingy).

My friend who rides a Warrior is supposed to be calling me any minute now. Supposed to go ride over to Angier with him and get breakfast. He said the ride route sounds good to him, so we may both show up at Aviator's between 10:30-11:00 but it's not a for sure thing just yet. If y'all see a guy pull up on a black Harley along with a guy on a blue Warrior, that's us.
