I guess you forgot the link to the thread... is that a Bushtec I have been giving a lot of thought about buying one seem to be a solid built unit. Any pros or cons?

I wasn't sure how Social Groups work, I always wondered why this forum lumped several states into one group. Others I have visited gives each state it's own.

As for the Bushtec, thanks for noticing. There's really only one major "con" that comes to mind - price. The basic model is $2500, but with extras and matching paint, you can easily spend double. The minor con's are acceleration and braking. You have to allow more time for braking and be more vigilant because of that. The other is acceleration... don't expect to have a full trailer and a passenger and not notice a big difference working up thru the gears. Oh, and one other con... I should have bought it sooner!
The pros... well... handling, storage, looks, performance, convenience, carrying capacity, new conversations with folks along the way, did I mention storage?, quality of construction, customer support. These are all good reasons to check one out.

 

I have raised the HP on the bike to help with the heat issues, and pulling. Lookin to get a Roadstar this spring. I understand about the cost base price is not to bad, but then you start adding the extra's $$$$. But they look good.
