Default Riding in Arizona

I have a possible job opportunity in Arizona and was wondering how it is to ride and live out there. I have visited before and enjoyed it. I will be living Tucson/Phoenix area. Thanks.

June,July and August gets really hot,but you can ride all year around.living in tuscon/phoenix area? Which one? They're atleast 100 miles apart.lol. cost of living isn't bad and housing in reasonable depending just where you live.

You can buy two houses here for the cost of one there.

riding is amazing there. I rented a Street Glide when I was there on a visit....I rode it for 12 hours and honestly I didn't want to stop. Night riding in the desert there in nothing like it....of course you have to watch out for the wildlife.

Look for Hwy 89A Jerome area. That's one of the moto roads the State has to offer. Summertime riding? Flagstaff is ok (for Arizona.) Phoenix is yucky. Tombstone is cool (watch out for Javelina!) Especially at dusk/night. There's never just 1 of 'em!

Probably no Javelina on the roads of Tombstone. They're all at my house!!

Along with Mule Deer, scorpions (not the band), lizards...

Let you know shortly, just moved from TX (wife from Phoenix). Ran up to the local watering hole on a packed Sunday while the weather was actually cool.

First off, sorry for being off topic, but I’m hoping someone who lives in the flagstaff area might know a good Diesel mechanic. Ive got no replies in any diesel forums. I’m a 1000 miles from home and got a hole in my EGR down pipe on my 07 Duramax. On the good side, I’ve got my bike in my toy hauler and can get in more riding around the Grand Canyon while waiting on repairs. Thanks in advance
