Smile Bikes on the bayou - houston, texas

Bikes on the Bayou - Houston Texas April 27th thru April 29th, 2018 Does anyone in the Houston area know of any groups going to this event? We were hoping to join a large group. This is a 1st for Houston and I would hope we'd use this event to hopefully start our own Houston Rally. This is a good way to show Houston and surrounding areas that we are good enough to have our own Rally. Anyone interested in starting a motorcycle ride to the event with us? Saturday would be good. If there is enough interest...Sunday too.

Nobody I know is planning on going to this. I'm not a rally guy so I doubt I'm going to go either.

Thanks Gasman. I got 1 guy showing interest. Might meet at Mancuso Harley off 290 and ride in. I am trying to see how to purchase tickets in advance and where to ride in. Like I said, this is a first in Houston so I am sure the 1st year will not be as organized.

There's already a major bike event in the Houston area every November..... am I missing something? That city is one of the worst places to ride a motorcycle I've been in, ever. I'll go over a hundred miles and hours out of my way to avoid it when I go west. Houston isn't a bad city, but it's not my idea of a "nice ride".... more like calculated suicide.

how was this event. I rode all day sunday and never talked to anybody who even considered going.

I agree with 67shuv.... this city is terrible for motorcycle riding. We always head straight out of town on our sunday rides. I do ride to work every now and then but I use the express lanes.
